Egg Substitute, Liquid

Liquid egg substitute is a product consisting mainly of egg whites, flavorings, and sometimes added nutrients. You can use egg substitute to cut down on fat and cholesterol which is concentrated in the yolk of a regular egg. Check the label of your particular product to ensure it meets your needs. Not all egg substitute products will work well in all recipes calling for eggs. Egg substitute cannot act as a thickener or emulsifier, unless the product also contains added lecithin, which is found in egg yolks.

Substitution for 1/4 cup egg substitute, liquid:

1 whole egg(s)

Note: Substitutions are a suggestion only and may not work well with all recipes. Use your best judgment!
