A classic turkey stuffing from Nova Scotia

Original recipe serves 9.

Scaling (About scaling and units)
Halve it | Double it | Triple it | Reset
Ingredients

salt ; to taste
4 onions ; finely chopped
1 tablespoon parsley
5 potatoes ; mashed
1 stick butter
black pepper ; to taste
2 egg(s)
10 slices white bread ; stale, torn into chunks
4 tablespoons savory

Preparation:

Add butter to mashed potatoes. Mix in onions, bread, salt, pepper, parsley and savory. Add eggs when mixture has cooled down. Stuff turkey and cook accordingly. This can also be baked by itself, uncovered for 30-40 minutes at 350 degrees F. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
