It was one of artist M.C. Escher's favorite recipes, since he was known to have stomach problems, and this is easily digestible.

Original recipe serves 2.

Scaling (About scaling and units)
Halve it | Double it | Triple it | Reset
Ingredients

salt
butter ; cold, thinly sliced
1 1/2 cups milk ; steaming
4 slices white bread

Preparation:

Toast bread and cover with slices of butter so that they cover the surface. Place in a soup bowl. Sprinkle with salt and pour steaming milk over the toast.
