A blend of whiskey and vermouth and bitters.

Ingredients

1 cherries ; marachino
2 Ice ; cubes
2 1/2 fluid ounces whiskey
3/4 fluid ounce vermouth ; sweet
1 dash Angostura bitters

Preparation:

Combine bitters, whiskey and vermouth in a mixing glass and stir gently. Place the cherry in a chilled glass and strain the whiskey mixture over the cherry.
