Roasted Peppers and Garlic

A one two punch of Flavor!

Original recipe serves 4.

Scaling (About scaling and units)
Halve it | Double it | Triple it | Reset
Ingredients

salt ; to taste
1/4 teaspoon oregano
4 cloves garlic ; mashed
black pepper ; to taste
1/2 cup olive oil
4 large red bell pepper

Preparation:

Put peppers under a hot broiler. Cook until black all over, turning periodically. Remove them with tongs and place them in a plastic bag. Let peppers sit in the bag until they are cool. When cool, cut them in half, remove the seeds and remove the blacked outer skin. Slice into slivers and put into olive oil. Let peppers sit awhile before serving.
