Apple and Cabbage Slaw

A slaw variant with vinegar, apples and honey.

Original recipe serves 4.

Ingredients

2 medium apples ; Granny Smith, chopped
1 pound cabbage ; shredded
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup walnuts ; chopped
1 1/2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon parsley
1 small onions ; red
salt ; to taste
black pepper ; to taste
0.25 apple cider

Preparation:

Combine the cabbage, onion, apples, and walnuts in a large bowl. In another small bowl, combine the honey, cider and vinegar. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Add cider mixture to the large bowl with the cabbage and toss. Garnish with parsely. Keep chilled until ready to serve.
