A Middle Eastern classic that makes a terrific dip or spread.

Original recipe serves 24.

Scaling (About scaling and units)
Halve it | Double it | Triple it | Reset
Ingredients

1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup onions ; grated
1/2 cup parsley ; chopped
1 clove garlic
6 tablespoons lemon juice
6 tablespoons olive oil
30 ounces chickpeas ; rinsed and drained
1/4 cup tahini ; sesame

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Let stand for 30 minutes before serving. Serve with warm pita points, crackers or vegetables.
