This is an East European variation on polenta, a dish made from boiled cornmeal.

Original recipe serves 1.

Scaling (About scaling and units)
Halve it | Double it | Triple it | Reset
Ingredients

1/2 cup cornmeal
1 cup water
1 tablespoon butter
3 tablespoons sour cream
1 ounce goat cheese ; crumbled

Preparation:

Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Slowly add the cornmeal. Use a wooden spoon to continuously stir the mixture until smooth. Remove the cormeal mixture and tranfer to a plate, pressing into a pancake. Cover with butter, goat cheese and/or sour cream.
