This recipe for mashed potatoes is so easy, it's absurd.

Original recipe serves 4.

Scaling (About scaling and units)
Halve it | Double it | Triple it | Reset
Ingredients

5 medium potatoes ; peeled and chopped
white pepper ; to taste
1 tablespoon chives ; chopped
2 1/2 cups chicken broth

Preparation:

Add the potatoes and broth to a saucepan and bring to a boil. Cover and cook over medium heat for about 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of the broth. Mash the potatoes with the reserved broth. Stir in white pepper and chives.
