Serve on hot dogs or as a side dish.

Ingredients

1 head cabbage ; shredded
4 medium carrots ; shredded or chopped
1/4 teaspoon caraway seeds
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sour cream
1/4 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 teaspoon lemon zest ; finely grated
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients except cabbage and carrots in a small bowl. Stir until smooth. Combine carrots and cabbage in a large bowl, and pour the first mixture into the cabbage mixture. Toss to coat. Cover, and refrigerate for 4 to 24 hours before serving.
