A hearty soup with kale potatoes and sausage

Ingredients (serves 6)
Add the onion and cook until it is soft, about 2-3 minutes.
Add the cayenne pepper and garlic. Cook an additional minute, or until fragrant.
Add the broth and the potatoes. Bring to a boil, and reduce heat to a simmer.
Simmer for 10-15 minutes, until the potatoes are tender.
Carefully transfer half of the soup to a blender and puree it.
Return the puree to the pot. Add the sausage and kale.
Simmer for an additional 10 to 15 minutes, until the kale is wilted.
