½ 2x 3x Reset

  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar ; level
  • 5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter ; softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking powder

    Directions

     Prep: 15 min | Cook: 1 min | Ready in: 16 min
    1. Combine all ingredients in a mug and whisk until lumps are gone.
    2. Microwave for 1 minute. You might need more time depending upon your microwave, so if needed, microwave for an additional 10 seconds at a time until done.
    3. Let the mug cool for a bit before eating. Top with ice cream or your favorite topping, if desired, and enjoy.

    Love this recipe. Always my go-to. I've used water and milk for liquid and milk is a bit fluffier, but both are moist and soft. I prefer this recipe to the ones that use 6 tablespoons of flour.

    This was really good and simple to make!  I added some more baking powder to make it fluffier the second time, and poured chocolate syrup on it.
