A typical taco seasoning recipe.

Original recipe serves 6.

Scaling (About scaling and units)

Ingredients

2 pounds beef ; ground
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons paprika
1.332 cups water
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1 1/2 teaspoons onions ; minced
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
24 taco shells

Preparation:

Combine flour and all seasonings in a small bowl. Brown the meat in a skillet on medium in high heat until crumbly, and then drain the fat. Add the water and the seasoning mixture. Bring to a boil and reduce to low heat, and cook, for 7 to 10 minutes, stirring occassionally. Spoon the meat into warmed taco shells and top with shredded lettuce, chopped tomato, sour cream and grated cheddar cheese as desired.
