Ingredients (serves 8)

  • 12 large carrots ; peeled and coarsely shredded
  • 6 ounces chives ; chopped
  • 1 cup pecans ; sweetened
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic

    Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
