  • salt ; to taste
  • 1/2 cup onions ; diced
  • 1/2 cup potatoes ; raw, grated
  • 1/8 cup butter ; melted
  • black pepper ; to taste
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 1 pound sauerkraut ; drained

    Saute onions in melted butter. Toss with sauerkraut, grated potatoes, and caraway seeds. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
