Directions
In a large saucepan brown beef, then drain the fat off. Add onion, jalapeno pepper and garlic; cook 3 mins. more. Add remaining ingredients, except almonds. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 20 mins. uncovered until sauce is thickened. Add the cinnamon stick just before serving. Serve over rice or tortillas.
