  • 1.998 cups sugar
  • 6 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1.998 cups walnuts ; chopped (or any other desired nuts)
  • 6 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 egg(s)
  • 2 1/4 cups butter ; or margerine, softened
  • 1.998 cups brown sugar
  • 3 cups bananas ; mashed
  • 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups chocolate chips ; semisweet

    Directions

     Prep: 15 min | Cook: 25 min | Ready in: 40 min
    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175C). Lightly grease a cookie sheet.
    2. Beat the butter in a mixing bowl for about 1 minute. Add baking powder, salt, and both sugars, and combine.
    3. Add egg, vanilla, banana, and flour, mixing well. Stir in the chocolate and nuts.
    4. Drop dough by rounded teaspoons about 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheet.
    5. Bake at 350F for 25 minutes or until golden.
    Original recipe makes about 36 cookies.
