Ham, Pineapple and Cheese Spread  (Not yet rated)

This is a rather...interesting spread. Serve it with crackers or vegetables.

Note: This adjusts ingredient amounts but not amounts mentioned in the Directions.

Ingredients (serves 16)

  • 1 cup ham ; chopped steak (about 6 ounces)
  • 1/4 cup pineapples ; canned, crushed and drained
  • 8 ounces cream cheese ; softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 medium jalapeno pepper ; seeded and chopped
  • 3 green onions ; chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds ; toasted
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese ; shredded

  • You will also need: food processor


    Combine cheeses, jalapeno pepper, cayenne pepper, pineapple and green onions in a food processor. Process until well blended. Add the ham and mix well to blend. Spoon the mixture into a small bowl, and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
