Ingredients (serves 6)

  • 10 3/4 ounces cream of mushroom soup ; (1 can)
  • 6 ounces French fried onions ; (1 can)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese ; shredded
  • 29 ounces green beans ; (or 2 14.5 oz cans), drained

  • You will also need: casserole dish


    1. Preheat oven to 350 F (175 C)
    2. Combine the mushroom soup and beans in a medium bowl and heat in the microwave on high heat for 3 to 5 minutes
    3. Stir in 1/2 cup of the cheddar and microwave for another 2 or 3 minutes.
    4. Transfer to the mixture to a casserole dish and sprinkle with the remaining cheddar and the onions.
    5. Bake for 10 minutes or until the onions are browned and the cheese is melted.
