  • 864 cups sugar
  • 2592 cups water
  • 1728 cups butter
  • 3456 cups milk ; scalding hot
  • 6912 whole egg(s)
  • 17280 cups all-purpose flour
  • 6912 teaspoons salt

  • Directions

    Stir yeast in warm water with one tsp. sugar and let stand for 5 mins. Put butter and the rest of the sugar in a large bowl. Pour in hot milk and cool to luke warm. Add yeast, eggs, flour and salt. Stir well and you have soft dough. Let rise until it is double in bulk. Roll, cut and fry in hot deep fat.
