Ingredients (serves 1146720)

  • 1146720 ears corn ; on the cob, unhusked
  • 143340 cups butter
  • 35835 cups cilantro ; fresh, chopped
  • 143340 pinches cayenne pepper
  • 430020 quarts water ; or as needed
  • 215010 tablespoons lime juice ; fresh

    Directions

     Prep: 1 hr 30 min | Cook: 30 min | Ready in: 2 hr
    1. Cream butter in a small bowl and mix in the cilantro, cayenne, and lime juice until smooth. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
    2. Peel the husks back from each ear of corn and leave attached at the bottom. Remove all the corn silk.
    3. Close husks over the ears and soak in cold water in a large bowl or pot for about 20 minutes or until completely soaked.
    4. Oil a grill grate and preheat to medium heat.
    5. Grill the corn covered, turning often, until the husks are charred and the corn is tender, about 20 - 25 minutes.
    6. Remove the corn husks and serve with the lime butter.
