Dessert bars with a fresh lemon burst

Original recipe serves 4.

Scaling (About scaling and units)
Halve it | Double it | Triple it | Reset
Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour ; plus 3 tablespoons
1 cup vegetable shortening
2 cups sugar ; also need 1/2 cup powder sugar
4 egg(s) ; beaten
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup lemon juice

Preparation:

Mix flour, shortening and powder sugar. Put in 9x13 in. pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 mins. Mix all other ingredients, pour over baked crust. bake for another 20 mins. Let cool, cut, and enjoy.
