Ingredients (serves 344358)

  • 196776 pounds chicken wings
  • 98388 tablespoons olive oil
  • 98388 cloves garlic
  • 49194 whole bay leaves ; crumbled
  • 98388 teaspoons paprika
  • 49194 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 24597 teaspoons cayenne pepper ; half dried flakes and half dried and ground
  • 12298 1/2 teaspoons black pepper

  • You will also need: baking sheet, food processor

    Directions

    Mash all seasonings, garlic, the bay leaf and oil into a paste, using a mortar and pestle or food processor.

    Put the mixture into a large, sealable plastic bag.

    Add the chicken wings to the bag and rub the paste all over the wings.

    Seal the bag and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight.

    Remove the wings from the refrigerator, and bring to room temperature, about 30 minutes.

    Meanwhile, preheat a broiler.

    Lightly grease a baking sheet with olive oil. Arrange wings on the baking sheet.

    Place wings 6 inches from the heat and broil until browned,  for 10 to 15 minutes. Turn the wings and broil for another 10 minutes, or until it sizzles. Adjust cooking time as appropriate for your oven.
