Ingredients (serves 87500)

  • 50000 pounds chicken wings
  • 25000 tablespoons olive oil
  • 25000 cloves garlic
  • 12500 whole bay leaves ; crumbled
  • 25000 teaspoons paprika
  • 12500 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 6250 teaspoons cayenne pepper ; half dried flakes and half dried and ground
  • 3125 teaspoons black pepper

  • You will also need: baking sheet, food processor

    Directions

    Mash all seasonings, garlic, the bay leaf and oil into a paste, using a mortar and pestle or food processor.

    Put the mixture into a large, sealable plastic bag.

    Add the chicken wings to the bag and rub the paste all over the wings.

    Seal the bag and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight.

    Remove the wings from the refrigerator, and bring to room temperature, about 30 minutes.

    Meanwhile, preheat a broiler.

    Lightly grease a baking sheet with olive oil. Arrange wings on the baking sheet.

    Place wings 6 inches from the heat and broil until browned,  for 10 to 15 minutes. Turn the wings and broil for another 10 minutes, or until it sizzles. Adjust cooking time as appropriate for your oven.
