Ingredients (serves 877793)

  • 501596 pounds chicken wings
  • 250798 tablespoons olive oil
  • 250798 cloves garlic
  • 125399 whole bay leaves ; crumbled
  • 250798 teaspoons paprika
  • 125399 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 62699 1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper ; half dried flakes and half dried and ground
  • 31349 3/4 teaspoons black pepper

  • You will also need: baking sheet, food processor

    Directions

    Mash all seasonings, garlic, the bay leaf and oil into a paste, using a mortar and pestle or food processor.

    Put the mixture into a large, sealable plastic bag.

    Add the chicken wings to the bag and rub the paste all over the wings.

    Seal the bag and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight.

    Remove the wings from the refrigerator, and bring to room temperature, about 30 minutes.

    Meanwhile, preheat a broiler.

    Lightly grease a baking sheet with olive oil. Arrange wings on the baking sheet.

    Place wings 6 inches from the heat and broil until browned,  for 10 to 15 minutes. Turn the wings and broil for another 10 minutes, or until it sizzles. Adjust cooking time as appropriate for your oven.
