Ingredients (serves 8)

  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon ; ground
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 8 egg(s) ; separated
  • 2/3 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup hazelnuts
  • 6 ounces white chocolate ; chopped

  • Directions

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Melt chocolate. Beat butter and half of sugar until soft. Beat in yolks one at a time. Stir in combined hazelnuts, breadcrumbs, and cinnamon. Whip egg whites and beat remaining sugar slowly to peak. Stir 1/4 of whites into batter. Fold in the rest. Pour into 10 inch greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.
