  • 0.5625 cup water ; boiling
  • 3/8 cup oatmeal
  • 0.1875 cup butter
  • 3/8 cup brown sugar
  • 3/8 cup sugar
  • 0.75 egg(s)
  • 3/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.1875 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 3/8 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.1875 teaspoon salt
  • 0.1875 cup walnuts

    Pour water over oatmeal, let stand. Cream the butter and sugar, add eggs. Add oatmeal and dry ingredients, then the nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
