Ingredients (serves 1464)

  • 244 pounds beef ; ground
  • 81.252 cups onions ; chopped
  • 2928 fluid ounces chili sauce ; tomato based
  • 305 cups grape jelly
  • 244 tablespoons canola oil
  • 122 cups bread crumbs
  • 61 cups milk
  • 122 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 30 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 244 teaspoons salt
  • 244 medium egg(s) ; beaten

     Prep: 15 min | Cook: 40 min | Ready in: 55 min
    1. Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, egg, salt, Worchestershire sauce, black pepper, and onion in a large bowl. Mix together well, and shape into 1 inch meatballs.
    2. Heat oil in a large skillet. Add the meatballs and cook for 5 to minutes, turning frequenty, until browned.
    3. Remove meatballs and drain on paper towels.
    4. Add the grape jelly and chili sauce to the skillet and heat, stirring, until melted together.
    5. Return the meatballs to the skillet and stir until the meatballs are coated with the jelly glazed.
    6. Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.
    Hint: Serve out of a large bowl bowl or or transfer to a large dish and stick each meatball with a toothpick for easy serving.
