Fudge brownies made with coffee liqueur
Original recipe serves 24.

Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350F (175C)
Combine the chocolate and butter in microwavable bowl and microwave on high until melted. Stir, mixing well. In a separate mixing bowl, combine sugar and eggs. Add the coffee liqueur, baking powder, pecans, salt, flour, and the chocolate mixture.
Spread batter into a 9x13 inch, greased baking pan. Bake at 350F (175C) for 30 minutes. Top with additional pecan halves, if desired. Cool brownies in the pan on a wire rack, and cut into squares.
