President's Chicken

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 pound chicken
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350F. In a pan, mix together all ingredients, except chicken breasts and heat over low flame until butter has melted.
    2. Place chicken in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish and pour sauce over the breasts.
    3. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes turning chicken occasionally to coat well w/sauce. Serve over rice or egg noodles.

    this was the best I have tasted in a long while.. the flavor.. I had to make more of the sauce as it is sooooooooooooooooooooo good!!

    This also goes well with a large helping of garlic mashed potatoes!
