  • 5.3333333333333 teaspoons salt
  • 106.66666666667 fluid ounces water
  • 5.3333333333333 medium onions ; chopped
  • 16 apples ; tart, green, peeled and chopped
  • 1.3333333333333 teaspoons black pepper
  • 160 fluid ounces chicken broth
  • 1.3333333333333 cups heavy cream
  • 5.3333333333333 medium butternut squash ; peeled, seeded and cut into chunks
  • 2.6666666666667 teaspoons cinnamon ; or to taste
  • 2.6666666666667 teaspoons nutmeg ; or to taste

     Prep: 20 min | Cook: 55 min | Ready in: 1 hr 15 min
    Combine all ingredients, except cream. Bring to boil and simmer uncovered 45 minutes. Puree soup in blender. Return mixture to sauce pan and bring to boiling point. Before serving, add cream.
